Dinner with Me maw.

Last night Chandler and I met Me maw at the boathouse restaurant for dinner. Chandler sat in a big boy high chair for the first time and like the well mannered guy he is he ate his cheerios and played with a spoon.

Me maw did give him his first taste of creme brulee as well...thanks mom he was up on sugar buzz until like 11:15 and them was up and down most of the night. I guess that is what grand parents do pump the grand kid full of sugar and send them on their way. Got to love it....NOT!

But she does LOVE him.

First Pool Party

Today was Chandler's first trip to the pool. He LOVED it we only stayed about 30 minutes but as you can see he had a splashing good time.

How can you spot a first time parent???? They are buying the "Fun" Loud toys.

Being Chandler is my first Child I have to by him all the "Fun" annoying toys Like a Learning drum. He loves it and I like to think he is actually learning while driving my crazy.

He tends to get a bit carried away!

I think He gets that from his DAD!

First family vacation

So we took our first Family trip and what a trip it was. Day one from home to Fredericksburg VA was to good to be true, we made the trip in about 7 hours 45 minutes after a must see stop at "South of the border" and everyone was in a good mood.

We saw Giant chickens and took a picture with Pedro.

Chandler took a few good power naps!

Day two: Was a bit more trying to say the least a 10 hour trip was turned into a fourteen hour trip with about 3.5 of those being spent in New york more specifically trying to cross the George Washington bridge on Saturday of memorial day weekend...What were we thinking???????

We saw forest fires in Massachusetts.

We did make it to the big Village of Rumney NH...yes Village...Yes I said VILLAGE.

And finally Chandler met Great Grandma and his first telephone cord. He loved both.Day three: We went to Jennifer's house for lunch and Chandler met the rest of the family.

And took a nap in the New England air. Day Four: We took a nice ride around the Lake and had a Beautiful New Hampshire day. And went to dinner at Jennifer's
Day Five: We saw Uncle Bruce and took another drive through the mountains. Then walked up to the swimming hole.
Chandler got good Great grandma loving.

Chandler also found that he liked to play fort under the table.

Day Six:We are on the road again. We went back avoiding New York City so much smoother.

Day Seven: we are back home in South Carolina. Thank God!
