A walk in the park

Today we went for a nice long walk with Auntie Holly at James Island county park. Chandler slept and played with his toys while Holly and I worked our muscles...mostly our mouth muscles blabbing the whole time. It was such a beautiful day we sat on the swing right by the marsh and enjoyed to view before the tornado force winds started to blow...really I thought i saw the wicked witch of the west fly by on her broom.

Hey crazy lady!

My crazy memaw I love her but what kind of game is she playing where I get poked in the eye.

That's right it's all fun and games until someone looses an eye.

Trouble in the making.

These two could be trouble. It looks like little Nic is very unimpressed with the whole NEW cute baby boy thing. Definitely more interested in the jelly beans that the Easter Bunny brought him then taking pictures with his cousin.

Never met a food I didn't like

WOW! Sweet potatoes are YUMMY! The only problem is that there are so many foods so little time.

Easter Day

Boy I love this sweater my Great Memaw knitted for me it looks great and tastes ever better. Hey and look I even match my Easter basket. I swear my mom didn't plan it like that or so she says.

Honor roll.

My cousins Amber and Starr made the A/B Honor roll again this semester and the whole family was in attendance to celebrate the occasion. Beauty and brains those girls have it all.

The egg dying experience

I don't know who had more fun Trae or myself I am pretty sure Chandler could care less about the whole egg dying experience. But it was his first Easter and we didn't want him to miss out...ok we really didn't want to miss out.

A day at the pool.

On Tuesday, April 3rd Chandler and his cousins Starr and Amber decided to go in Memaw's pool for the first time of the season, even though the water was freezing. Chandler and I just dipped our toes and that was enough. He is a real bathing beauty don't you think?

Go fly a kite.

So Dad thought I needed to go fly a kite and after mom and dad got in an argument over how the kite works, Dad finally got it going. Boy did I have fun...Yes that was sarcastic.

You can tell that Chandler loves his daddy just by the way he looks at him. How sweet is that?

Easter is just around the corner.

So whoever said it was easy being so cute I guess was wrong. I tried forever it seemed to just get a couple pictures of him in his super cute Easter outfit and he was having no part of it. I guess we all have days we just don't want our picture taken. However I still think he's adorable. He did spit up all over him self right after this picture and I took that as a sign that the photo shoot was OVER!

Off to college

You have to admit this is a cute outfit no matter what dad thinks. Some say he looks like a banker, some say like he's ready for college and others think Charlie Brown. What do you think?

The Cajun Festival

Sunday April 1st was Chandler's first Cajun Festival. I thought it would be cute to put a little crayfish in his pocket and it was... but what you didn't see was one second later he put that cute NASTY little craw daddy right in his mouth. Got to love the development of hand eye coordination.

Speaking of eye coordination if I didn't know better I would say these guys are checking out the ladies.

On the evening of February 28th we realized that Chandler had figured out how to roll over already. I'm telling you the boy is a genius.

Bath time is oh so fun

Times they are a changin' just 3 1/2 short months ago Chandler could barely be seen in his baby bath...and now his baby bath can barely be seen at all.

I guess it is true what they say

Chandler is home two days and already posing like a pro...he has definitely mastered the Innocent look don't you think?

My first Christmas

My first Christmas and many more to come. I can't wait until next year when I can really make a mess, see all the pretty lights and enjoy all the gifts...oh yeah and celebrate the birth of Jesus too.
